Some comments:

On Tuesday 21 April at the Beaumont Centre, author Ann Richardson gave Forum members a fascinating insight into the views and experiences of grandmothers from different groups and cultures. She peppered her talk with instances of family relationships and how they change with age and responsibilities. Her examples were drawn from her research and the book which she has written on this topic (which is available from Amazon).

We were delighted to welcome Dr Ann Richardson to the London Ladies Club. There are so few books written on the subject of grandmothers. Ann spoke with enthusiasm and passion and, to reinforce her points, read excerpts from her book. Celebrating Grandmothers is a fascinating insight into what it is to be a grandmother – and it is reassuring to hear what other women have to say.  Our members very much enjoyed her talk.’
